Who doesn’t love Heath bars? Toffee, chocolate, what more could you ask for? I was going through my stack of handwritten recipes the other day, trying to choose some appropriate ones and I came across this cookie bar recipe. It’s from Gourmet Magazine but I’m not sure what year. I love the Toffee and chocolate flavor and if you do too, you’ll really love these Toffee Chocolate Bar cookies.
Wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! Hope it is the best ever for you. Happy New Year too….I’ll be stepping away from the computer for today to enjoy this precious time with family and friends, but before that i would like to share with you a few words.
I know what you’re thinking. “No way, another cookie recipe?” Well, to tell you the truth, When it comes to cookies, in all this pre-Christmas excitement I kind of lost track myself. Thats right, i’m sure you’ll hear a lot of excuses, but this Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies from Cooking classy is a great one lol.
Am I being clear here? This stuff is so utterly crazy addictive that I have actually sat here and struggled to find words to describe it. Let me paint this picture for you: it is one of those treats that people take a little handful to start off with, then keep sneaking back for more because they can’t stay away. Embarrassing? Only til y’all try it and see what I’m talking about.
S’mores in dip form. A dessert DIP. As quick as kids jump off the bus after school, this marshmallowy dip from the recipe critic mixes together in the microwave. All the great taste of real S’mores but without the campfire!
The dip itself tastes just like the inside of a s’more, and when you dip graham crackers into it, it will make you feel like you’re sitting outside around the campfire. Best of all, it only takes about 5 minutes to make. Enjoy! 🙂
