Lemon sheet cake is not a particularly impressive-looking cake, it’s just basic 9×13-inch cake. But it’s a cake for feeding a crowd and in my humble opinion, is the best lemon cake you will ever eat. I love the look and taste of the glaze and lemon sugar topping and it is something a little different than standard chocolate/vanilla frosted cake.
When life gives you lemons… make lemon brownies. Life tip? I guess so. Don’t get me wrong, I loooove chocolate. Deeply. I’ll admit it. I’m not ashamed. But every now and then, particularly in the spring, I start craving for Lemon pie, Lemon curd muffins, Lemon brownies… just name it. Despite the absence of chocolate, these babies are referred to as “brownies” because they have the same moist and fudgy texture as our beloved brownies. Taste of Lemon brownies are a little hard to describe so you’ll just have to make these babies from Budding Baketress blog and see for yourself! Trust me. You won’t regret it.
Hello, let’s talk breakfast. I’m Introducing here a new breakfast piece. Lemon Monkey Bread. If you like lemons and lemony creations, you will love this one. Please excuse me while I hide out with my lemon monkey bread, because the whole family will love pulling it apart – and don’t be surprised by how quickly it disappears. Monkey bread is a scrumptious treat that’s as fun to eat as it is tasty and your kiddos will love it and I’m sure it has a lot to do with the name. I mean, monkey bread is just too fun to say.
This Lemon Shrimp Scampi with Linguine is the perfect dish. When hosting a dinner party I always worry about cooking too much food, or even worse, not having enough, and this dish satisfied the bellies of six adults with just a tiny bit of leftovers. It is one of my favorites to fix for company – it somehow seems elegant, costs very little to make and takes 10-15 minutes, and Like most great Italian ‘recipes’ the recipe is not really a recipe, but a list of ingredients. No butter? Just use more olive oil and maybe a little extra garlic for more flavor.
With all the snow, rain, and overall dreary weather the last couple days you need this bright and cheerful bread. I know what you’re hinking….sigh…another bread recipe. Well it’s not just some plain old bread with some lemons and stuff, it’s stuffed with blueberries and drizzled with a sweet and tangy lemon glaze.
