Brace for it, Winter is coming — sort of.
Woke up this morning to the first snow of the winter. Any one else get snow?? (Un) Fortunately its not settled except on the tops.Bitter cold though. At least a good portion of time i have been enjoying the beautiful outdoors lately! Another thing I have been enjoying are chicken wings (awesome segue, huh?).

I read somewhere that taste Buds change every 5 to 7 years and during these periods we find that we begin to like the flavor of some things but not others and vis-a-versa. For When You Want No Pork On Your Fork…
I have always been intimidated by Asian food and I have finally gotten this recipe down. Yes i’m talking ’bout Spicy Sesame Chicken Potstickers from Lifesambrosia. The filling has a fine texture that reminds me of a meatball and the wrapper is the perfect combination on chewy and crisp. They’re perfect as an appetizer or even as a light meal.
Am I being clear here? This stuff is so utterly crazy addictive that I have actually sat here and struggled to find words to describe it. Let me paint this picture for you: it is one of those treats that people take a little handful to start off with, then keep sneaking back for more because they can’t stay away. Embarrassing? Only til y’all try it and see what I’m talking about.
Y’all pretty much know by now how I feel about potatoes, but for those who don’t , i can’t imagine my way to the local grocery store or flow market without picking up a big bag of potatoes :). Potatoes making a regular appearance on the supper plate in some form, including casseroles like this, that center around potatoes. Whether you take the time to roast them, or boil them and mash, they never seem to disappoint. To me, it means being a meat and potatoes kind of person, right ??
