Who doesn’t love Heath bars? Toffee, chocolate, what more could you ask for? I was going through my stack of handwritten recipes the other day, trying to choose some appropriate ones and I came across this cookie bar recipe. It’s from Gourmet Magazine but I’m not sure what year. I love the Toffee and chocolate flavor and if you do too, you’ll really love these Toffee Chocolate Bar cookies.

The combination of toasted marshmallows, crispy graham crackers and melting chocolate is what makes s’mores a beloved summertime treat of so many. Classic s’mores are made over a campfire, but sometimes you really don’t want to start a fire just to make them. Sometimes when it’s raining, or you are just too lazy to start a fire, you can make a S’mores Cake from Kraft magazine instead.
