I think everyone should have chocolate on hand all day EVERY day 365 days a year! I remember that my mom used to make me Chocolate Sandwiches in elementary school, such a great TREAT , much better than peanut butter. So she stopped making it when she realized that I am just as obsessed with it ! Years Passed, but i’m still chocolate sandwiches kinda addict. Nope, It is not just Chocolate Sandwich ! I meant a grilled chocolate sandwich. It is as rich and delicious as it sounds, I promise!

Grandma & Katie’s Frozen Dessert
Just take a minute to stare at the Chocolate creamy peanut butter crispy rice cereal Frozen Dessert Goodness from Gooseberry Patch magazine in the picture left. I love frozen desserts. Like… LOVE them. They are super easy, always yummy and you can’t beat a sweet, rich, frozen treat during the summer and this stuff is so utterly crazy addictive that I have actually sat here and struggled to find words to describe it.
Toffee Chocolate Bars
Who doesn’t love Heath bars? Toffee, chocolate, what more could you ask for? I was going through my stack of handwritten recipes the other day, trying to choose some appropriate ones and I came across this cookie bar recipe. It’s from Gourmet Magazine but I’m not sure what year. I love the Toffee and chocolate flavor and if you do too, you’ll really love these Toffee Chocolate Bar cookies.
S’mores Ice Cream Cake
The combination of toasted marshmallows, crispy graham crackers and melting chocolate is what makes s’mores a beloved summertime treat of so many. Classic s’mores are made over a campfire, but sometimes you really don’t want to start a fire just to make them. Sometimes when it’s raining, or you are just too lazy to start a fire, you can make a S’mores Cake from Kraft magazine instead.
Shortbread cookies aka Mexican Wedding cookies
How can a cookie with only four ingredients taste SO good? All I had the energy to do on last Friday was bake a batch of shortbread. It was definitely a sick day! But shortbread is a wonderful starting point for all kinds of sweet adventures: one part sugar, two parts butter, three parts flour, no leavening. Oh, flavor it with pecans or hazelnut and a little powdered sugar to top it off. Simplicity never tasted so good.
