Better than … Chex Mix by Susan
You know that type of food, that even looking at it brings on the calories, but when you take a bite you decide that every calorie is worth it? This recipe is one of those foods. WORTH. EVERY. BITE! It is one of those treats that people take a little handful to start off with, then keep sneaking back for more because they can’t stay away. Based on its sinfully delish cake namesake, this Better than … Continue reading
Baked Zucchini Chips by Maggie
Up to your ears in zucchini?? Blogger Maggie of Vittles and Bits shares how to make zucchini chips at home. Breaded, oven-fried zucchini chips taste like they’re fried, yet they are baked and amazingly crispy. Mini Tortilla-Crust Pizzas from Cheeky Kitchen
(shhhhh – I was at work when I found the recipe)
Although, I am ready to commit one sin more each and every Saturday – I EAT PIZZA! I love it with gorgonzola cheese at lovely corner pizza slice shop…but is a whole different story…I would rather eat a piece of crunchy pizza in the morning with a crust as thin as a parchment instead another piece of bread (but that’s just my freaky idea). Check out Mini Tortilla Crust Pizzas from Cheeky kitchen as a guest post at Tablespoon. They are cute, they are super mini and the idea of baking them in Muffin Tin is incredibly clever.
Pizza Nachos by Maria & Josh
Yep. Pizza nachos. Where oh where have you been all my life, friend?! This is two of, like, the best foodstuffs in the world, so wrong. so right. Nachos and pizza, together forever.Nothing beats nachos, except maybe pizza, so this is a total win situation.Tortilla chips smothered in pizza sauce, classic combination pizza toppings, and gobs of ooey gooey cheese. Who needs crust? I spotted the idea on the wonderful comfort food blog two peas and their pod. The great thing about these pizza nachos, much like any nacho, is that you can make them your own way. Don’t like pepperoni? Try something else. Don’t like olives? Try Artichokes, or broccoli, or heck, you can see where I’m heading. Use your imagination. I can guarantee you will love them. Give these a try and let me know what you think!
