Wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! Hope it is the best ever for you. Happy New Year too….I’ll be stepping away from the computer for today to enjoy this precious time with family and friends, but before that i would like to share with you a few words.
“You know how there’s always that moment where it suddenly Feels Like Christmas? Yeah. and no season is felt in different ways like Christmas, like when you doing Christmas cards; when Christmas cards start arriving in the mail; when we put up the Christmas lights; when you actively shopping for Christmas gifts; when you wrapping Christmas gifts; when radio stations start playing Christmas music; when Corey’s Easy Cheesy Pull Apart Rolls are on the table….
They say “Man can not live by bread alone” but I bet if you added some cheese and garlic to it you could! “Did i hear mumbling from the behind” ?? “You don’t love the bubbly wonderfulness of piping hot garlic cheese bread” ?? Write this date on your calendar. Because that’s all about to change. I can’t think of a better thing to accompany a delicious Italian meal than this cheesy, buttery garlic bread from Gooseberry Patch magazine. Words cannot describe how good this bread is, so please just do yourself a favor and make it. Now! I know it is sinful, but so worth it.
Did you know eating bananas can cheer you up? –
They are excellent source of vitamin B6 which assist the body to produce serotonin- a natural chemical that helps maintain a “happy feeling,” and seems to help keep our moods under control by helping with sleep, calming anxiety, and relieving depression.
Thus, I’m always looking for a treat that satisfies my sweet tooth without a bunch of guilt. Next to raisins, bananas are like nature’s candy or dessert, plain or fried you name it !
I think Fridays need to be a National Holiday. All day Friday should be happy hours, happy prices, happy people! I also think that Fridays need to come with a sweet weekend recipe because, as we all know, weekend calories don’t count. And when life gives you apples…i know you probably wanted to say Apple Pie, but pretend for this time and say Apple rings.
